BANG BANG: Bias Dialogs
Remark
Video-Editing: Sus Zwick The composer and sound artist Leo Hofmann creates unconventional, intimate listening situations and presents "Bias Dialogs", a performance in which cushions whisper, walls sing and sound waves play hide and seek. In "Bias Dialogs", a fictitious conversation between a performer and a virtual voice assistant develops into a polyphony of speaking and singing voices. Between fluffy latex cushions, filigree swan-neck microphones and delicate sound waves, between touches and movements, the actors' relationships are constantly transformed. In a structure of echoes, imitation and repetition, the performance circles around themes such as memory, tactility, strangeness and familiarity, tracing resonances of space, time, animate and inanimate things.
