Since 2009 Alex Silber has been using his smart phone camera to film occurrences and situations in everyday life. The moments he has captured show small scenes which are complete in themselves, and which merge together during the artistic process forming pictorial dialogues. These stories and revelations which are evinced through the videos, give the artwork the opportunity to offer us new levels of consciousness. The chosen open access staging of the art work installed outside at the facade of the coffee house "unternehmen mitte" provides the optimal conditions which allow the installation to unfold its qualities. The spirit of the place, the genius loci, is expressed through the presence of the work of art itself.
