December 12, 1990. The performance was held during the «Van Gogh Ear» Exhibition in the Akrabov Gallery, Plovdiv.
The exhibition was definitely conceptual, but the motivation of the curator Dimitar Grozdanov was extremely personal. At that time, Albena / Benji was Grozdanov's wife and was pregnant at 5 months. The paternity claimants of the child were two. While the preparation of the exhibition Dimitar Grozdanov cut his leg with a chainsaw for a tree.
Behind the idea of this performance is a personal drama that very soon takes on a social dimension. The performance «No Name» of Albena and Nadia was held in closed doors. He focuses on the number «2» in variations, attitude towards the female body, motherhood and gender issues.
Stylized, the two female figures become a hallmark of their future exhibition.
Albena Mihaylova and Nadia Genova have been working together for some time, have a common studio in the old town of Plovdiv, make exhibitions and conceptually designed performances. At that time they were already actively working in a team with the RUB group.
