An Oral History of Picasso in Palestine; A Beyond That Doesn't Get You Anywhere; Decolonizing Architecture: Four Human Landscapes.

For my PhD submission, I included three works: a book („An Oral History of Picasso in Palestine“); a poster („A Beyond That Doesn’t Get You Anywhere“); and a series of four posters („Decolonizing Architecture: Four Human Landscapes“). The main portion of the submission was the book, with the two poster works treated as supplementary documents related to my research and methodology. In my dissertation, I talk mainly about the Picasso project as a hybrid work between art and oral history collection, and discuss this work in relation to the issues approached in the poster works, in relation to the construction of artistic research as a discipline, and in relation to the history of interdisciplinary constructions, with a particular emphasis on the oral history discipline.
