Verhandlungsräume. Die Rolle des Gestalters in prozessorientierten Projekten

Die Masterarbeit fand im Rahmen einer Übergangsnutzung und Entwicklung der ehemaligen Coop Verteilzentrale in Pratteln statt. Zum einen beschreibt sie die laufenden Prozesse, reflektiert diese und versucht, sie in einen größeren Kontext einzuordnen. Zum anderen beschäftigt sie sich mit der Rolle des Gestalters im Erforschen, Verhandeln und Ermöglichen von Räumen und der Aneignung dieser Räume anhand von Prototypen, sozialen Interaktionen und räumlichen Transformationen.

The master thesis took place within the framework of a transitional use and development of
the former Coop distribution centre in Pratteln. On the one hand, it describes the running
processes, reflects them and tries to place them in a larger context.
On the other hand, it deals with the role of the designer in exploring, negotiating and enabling of spaces and the appropriation of these spaces by means of prototypes, social interactions and spatial transformations.
