If you could talk to a plant, what would you ask? What could be its answer? Would it be a discreet response? Straight forward? Maybe inexplicable? Would you stay in touch? «Miss Moss» aims to give vision and language to selected actors of the natural forces behind the global changes we are witnessing today. It aims to raise questions on our values scale and life priorities as well as the role of machines within nature and of nature within machines. More broadly it aims to re-sense our own role in nature and within society by shifting perspectives on the environment and bolster resistance to the systems that negatively impacts it.

Wenn Sie mit einer Pflanze sprechen könnten, was würden Sie sie fragen? Wie wäre wohl ihre Antwort? Wäre sie taktvoll? Gerade heraus? Vielleicht unverständlich? Würden Sie in Kontakt bleiben wollen? Im Kontext globaler klimatischer Veränderungen verleiht «Miss Moss» ausgewählten Akteuren aus der Natur Sehvermögen und Sprache. Die Arbeit stellt Fragen an die Wertesysteme in unserem Leben sowie zur Rolle von Maschinen in der Natur und der Natur innerhalb von Maschinen. In einem erweiterten Sinne zielt die Arbeit darauf ab, unsere Rolle in einem fragilen sozioökonomischen System neu zu bewerten, indem die Perspektive auf die Akteure der Natur verschoben wird.
