I Think A Thinker
The artist was in search of a 'great' thought - a profound thought that could put an artist on a pedestal. He asked the viewers to donate thoughts. He searched through his mobile phone for thoughts. People generously penned down thoughts of all kinds, shapes and sizes, colors, from everywhere and nowhere, meaning everything and nothing, seeking, spurning, connecting, disconnecting… But, in the end, a fire consumed them all.
The performance obviously references Auguste Rodin’s ‘Thinker’, although in no particular way.
