The project "On the needles of these days" is not a treatise on the subject of death. It perceives death as an inevitable point in a person's life. We show death in the most diverse forms. The death of a love, a childhood, a dream, an illusion, a moment. The end that can also be a new beginning. We take up fears, visions and cults that we have encountered so far in relation to death. But not in a scientific claim to completeness, but colored with our fantasies and experiences. Extinction. Dissolution. Dropping. Decomposition. Decay. Melting. The fears about the finiteness of life and not knowing what comes after death. The rituals of leaving traces - of documenting oneself - of not falling into oblivion - of building railings so as not to lose oneself - of falling into emptiness - of not wanting to let oneself fall. The text passages come from the French surrealist poets. (1991)

Die Tonspur des Videos wurde nicht bearbeitet. Das Projekt wurde in Basel im Werkraum Schlotterbeck, dann in Zürich an der Wasserwerkstrasse 117 und später dann m Rahmen der Kunstszene Zürich Performance 91/92 in der Shedhalle Zürich gezeigt. Die Super-8 Filme haben Clarissa Herbst und Dominique Rust aufgenommen. Zur Figur in unseren Arbeiten: Die Bewegungen, Aktionen und Texte entfernen sich von der herkömmlichen schauspielerischen Darstellung. Es existiert keine dramaturgische Entwicklung - keine Geschichte. Die Figur ist einerseits Teil des Gesamtbildes - der Installation und andrerseits verbindet und bündelt sie die verschiedenen Ausdrucksformen.
