In questo podcast di un'ora, Thilini Prasadika mi interroga sulla mia ricerca e sul mio lavoro. Il fatto che io parli di "cercare di arrendersi alla nostra incapacità di comprendere lo spazio" a uno scienziato dello Sri Lanka mette in gioco una dimensione spaziale che, a causa della qualità performativa già esistente dello Zoom, trasforma l'intervista in una performance in un modo che non possiamo cogliere appieno. È un documento di quanto sia assolutamente folle (e allo stesso tempo assolutamente familiare!) che la prima volta che parlo del "nocciolo" - il più interno, il più vicino, il più intimo, il più emotivo, il più fisico - del mio lavoro, lo faccia con qualcuno che è il più lontano, che "vedo" per la prima volta - e non fisicamente.

„flags“ a project of Gabriel Magos As tanks were approaching I was torn away from my sandbox in my hometown Budapest at the age of three and a half. Our family fled to Switzerland. My search for a new sandbox led me to India, into agriculture, rock music, performance, theatre, theatrepedagogy and now I am visualizing this search for "Terratorium" in the project "flags". As flags are grandiosely propagating annihilating nationalisms I go in the opposite direction (I flee ? I resist ?) to an "arte veramente povera" where I invent flagobjects and performances like "whiteflagwaving" to investigate the phenomenon "flag" and its seducing power as first moving informator.
