Dans ce podcast d'une bonne heure, Thilini Prasadika m'interroge sur mes recherches et mon travail. Le fait que je parle de "trying to surrender to our unability to understand space" à une scientifique au Sri Lanka introduit une dimension spatiale qui, grâce à la qualité performative de Zoom, fait de l'interview une performance comme nous ne pouvons pas en saisir toute la portée. C'est un document qui montre à quel point il est absolument fou (et en même temps absolument familier !) que la première fois que je parle de "the core" - le plus intime, le plus proche, le plus familier, le plus émotionnel, le plus physique - de mon travail, je le fasse avec quelqu'un qui est le plus éloigné, que je "vois" pour la première fois - et pas physiquement.

„flags“ a project of Gabriel Magos As tanks were approaching I was torn away from my sandbox in my hometown Budapest at the age of three and a half. Our family fled to Switzerland. My search for a new sandbox led me to India, into agriculture, rock music, performance, theatre, theatrepedagogy and now I am visualizing this search for "Terratorium" in the project "flags". As flags are grandiosely propagating annihilating nationalisms I go in the opposite direction (I flee ? I resist ?) to an "arte veramente povera" where I invent flagobjects and performances like "whiteflagwaving" to investigate the phenomenon "flag" and its seducing power as first moving informator.
