Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future
Auch wenn die "Talloires Declaration" nicht speziell im Zusammenhang mit Universitäten steht, an denen künstlerisch-gestalterische Fächer gelehrt werden, handelt es sich hierbei um ein relevantes Dokument, dass den Anspruch von 430 (Stand Feb. 2012) Universitäten wieder gibt Nachhaltigkeit in ihre institutionellen Strukturen zu integrieren.
Die Taillores Declaration diente als Modell und Inspiration für folgende weitere Dokumente:

- Swansea Declaration of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, August 1993
- Copernicus University Charter for Sustainable Development of the Conference of European Rectors, Autumn 1993
- Kyoto Declaration of the International Association of Universities, November 1993
- American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (PCC), 2007 (Note: The PCC was replaced by three separate higher education commitments in 2015: the Climate Commitment, the Carbon Commitment, and the Resilience Commitment. Read more about them here.)
