No Longer Body—Still Body. Images that reflect contemporary discussion on the given bodies

We live in a world where racial and gender conflicts have continued, and the influence of another type of body, in digital space, is growing. On the one hand, we were constantly reminded of the body's natural identity and fragility, and on the other hand, we were entirely liberated from its physical constraints in the digital world.

In such times, this project poses the following question on the given body and its identity: Is the identity of a given body fixed, or can personal choice transform it? What do today's trends in body transformation suggest for visual creators? How can I portray bodies that reflect contemporary discussion on the identity of 'given' bodies?

This project examines various discourses and perspectives on the given body to address the questions above and suggests the possibility of body transformation as a means of expression for today's visual creators.
