Das Museum als Third Place?. Potentiale für die Vermittlung im Raum
The field of activity in which cultural history museums operate is changing. The work of curators, designers and educators is shaped by political, cultural and societal change. At the same time, museums are challenged in finding ways on how to address their colonial heritage. This work transcends established museum formats and develops alternative ways of communicating content in spatial structures. In opening itself for debates on current societal, political and cultural topics the museum becomes a space for community-building.
