Literally meaning wooden path, “Holzweg” refers to a road that leads to a dead end or a misguided direction. In this performance, the audience follows a lost puppet on a journey of initiation into the heart of civilization. As it moves through enchanted landscapes, the puppet gradually regains its autonomy, navigating trials and tribulations—until a powerful force catches up with it through spellbinding music. A choreographed meditation on freedom and the agency of bodies within constructed space.
