In the act of becoming*Chläusin, ’nSchuppel seeks vulnerability and permeability between bodies, subtly subverting conventional notions of tradition. Loosely referencing the Appenzell Silvesterchlausen, the figures tell stories of losing oneself and coming together again, of change and impermanence. With a sense of ambivalence yet an awareness of tradition, ’nSchuppel deviates into rhythmic detours and dissonances, tracing unexpected resonances.
