Dorothea Rust: Revolving Histories footnotes to the Atlas-Text. The footnoes *1 to *151 are just as important as the Atlas text on Zurich's performance movements. For this text, I set myself the task of meticulously picking up all the names and places from the Zurich map and inserting them into the text. It has also been important to me to mention as many names as possible in order to take into account the many individuals, groups and collectives which have been active in the diverse scenes and places: how movements were, have been and how they may have changed and continue into the present day. For this reason, the text for this atlas publication has grown to excessive proportions and has become an incomplete encyclopaedia. The sources and references provided here are intended to offer further incentives to engage with the Zurich performance movements and to continue researching from the past into the future. I recommend reading the PDF containing the Atlas text with the inserted footnotes side by side with the following footnotes.
