Dies ist eine narrative Bildinvestigation um den mythischen Vorhang des Boudoirs zu lüften. «Something is happening here, but you do not know what it is.» Denn der Zutritt war (aristokratisch) exklusiv. Viele reizende Damen sollen hier geschmollt haben – doch sie sehen eigentlich ganz heiter aus? Und ein wenig nackt sind sie auch! Samtig weiche Haut gehüllt und enthüllt in Seiden zarte Stoffe, Intimität zum Greifen nah. Aber nur anschauen!, wie Aby Warburg: das Vergangene mit dem Zeitgenössischen verbinden, zu einer Chronologie der Intimität.
