Motets M136-M139 have concordances in MotettiLQ, as part of C37b. C37b has the rubric "in honorem Sancti Spiritus" and is attributed to "Gaspar" in MotettiLQ, index.
Description

The cycle consists of four motets (or possibly five, see Further notes), whose texts derive from liturgical items associated with the feast of (and period after) Pentecost. Compare cycle C37b Spiritus domini replevit orbem (MotettiLQ), which contains motets 1-4 of this cycle with two additional motets.

Notes

WARD 1986, 507-508 proposes the reconstruction of a “virtual” seven-motet cycle combining motets from the present cycle and C37b.

LINDMAYR-BRANDL 1992 and PAVANELLO 2009 have proposed to discard M140 (whose attribution to Gaspar is doubtful) from the cycle on textual and stylistic grounds.
