Description
The cycle belongs to the “core” group of motetti missales. It consists of eight motets (the fifth and the eighth subdivided into two partes). The texts derive from different sources, mostly Marian antiphons (including two lengthy antiphons based on the Song of Songs), rhymed prayers, and sequences.
