Sechs ohne Material

This 6-hour performance at Kaskadenkondensator Basel (17.04.2011, 13.00-19.00) is the start of a series of 6 performances at 6 different locations in Basel, Zurich and the canton of Bern. The 6 performers work together, each in their own way, over 6 hours, in an open framework, without material. What is "material", what is not? What about material in the form of clothing or food, the materiality of the body itself or a wall? How do materiality and matter relate to each other? Where does something feel like "material" in our thoughts and feelings? It is each for themselves and together at the same time. There are no agreements and no preliminary discussions. The work develops in the moment in relation to the space, the audience and the other performers.
