Reclaim The Streets! Die Rutsche auf dem Dorfplatz

In front of the windows of the houses around the village square in Ernen hung flags printed with a photographic section of the village slide. The installation was accompanied by a performance in which we climbed the statue of St. George, which is in a prominent position on the village square, and shouted a text consisting of various quotations into the surroundings using a megaphone. The quotes were taken from conversations between the artists and villagers. These were assembled in such a way that a call was made to revitalize the village and the village square, which has always been a meeting point and place of discourse and expression of opinion, with creative and playful methods, such as the amusing and tongue-in-cheek suggestion to reinstall the slide on the village square.
