Lighthacking - A COLLABORATIVE MULTI-MEDIA INSTALLATION AND PERFORMANCE
(2016)
http://andy.guhl.net
Using self-made audio-visual instruments and sensors, we create an analog live sound and light collage in which we integrate the electronic idiosyncrasies and iconographies of everyday devices and objects, change them and let them collide, mirror and mix them in a trio.
Instrument contains divers cracked everyday electronics developed by Andy Guhl over the last decades:
Video synthesizer, divers wireless monitoring cameras, prismatic opticals, LCD screens, LED Lights, microscopic
cameras and reflecting minerals, tuning cameras and video buffering. Everyday devices and materials like blinking bicycle lamps and water, handmixer and children toys and figures widen our spectrum for sounds and images.
