SPAZIO A VOCE
(2014)
https://hannahildebrand.com
This performance took place in the Fabbrica Rosa, ex Archivio Harald Szeemann in the last days before it was totally emptied. It consisted in wandering around in the whole studio, room after room, with a sound recorder in my hand and a portable amplification in my backpack, doing a verbal
description of what I could see, down to the smallest details: structural and material aspects of the rooms and of the remaining objects, signs of the use they went through.
Doing this I created a spatial voice mapping, while facing stimulating verbal difficulties and impressing in my memory the sights and the characteristics of those rooms (without the aid of a camera) and in the same time attempting to expand, for the audience, the visible and noticeable.
The performance was part of a collective performance day, curated by Alessandro Castiglioni. More infos in the next text field.
