The public is given a meeting point. From here, four walks, punctuated by performances, criss-cross the landscape through the hills and forests around Giswil (OW). Everyone is free to choose "their" walk.

The route I propose follows the Laui, the valley's wild and unpredictable torrent, and links the ruins of three castles. For each of the five stages of the walk, a legend of the region is revisited, evoking floods, treasure hunts, witches, ghosts and underground passages.

Walkers are accompanied by a guide, and receive a booklet containing the legends on which the stages are based, to be read as the walk progresses. In the middle of the route, a picnic is shared in a clearing.
