In Gyumri, I stood wrapped in a silk membrane next to the bronze sculpture of Charles Aznavour in the square next to the huge Arc de Triomphe dedicated to him. Wind plays with the fabric. I am a living, soft, temporary sculpture - a human being in a contrasting space. As a diaspora Armenian, Charles Aznavour donated a lot of money for the reconstruction after the terrible earthquake that razed Gyumri to the ground. It is said that the sculpture of Stalin used to stand here and that only the head was replaced. Duration of the performance: approx. 30 min.
