Shift the Manifesto

We are a group of female artists who have been working together in various constellations since 1998 and enjoy inventing and trying out new formats. How can individual artists arrive at joint formulations and works? How can youthful vigor be translated into a dignified aging as artists? Have we become meek or are we still driven by holy anger? What energies are needed today? And where do we go from here? With questions like these in mind, we are bringing additional performers from different generations on board to reinforce our work.
Based on the "First Manifesto of Great and Respected Women Artists" from 1998 and its then current points, the Manifesto Reflex Collective examines today's issues of professionalism, money, power and energy of women and artists in our society. The feminist manifesto from back then is the reference point for the performance. The individual manifesto points are examined in terms of their topicality, explosiveness and validity; new models, collective and aesthetic practices and techniques, materializations and verbalizations are the starting point.
