Svetlana Hansemann dedicates the performance "Katyusha" to May 9, the day of victory in the Second World War. Every year, Russia celebrates this day with a large military parade, during which songs from the front are sung. The Russian name for the rocket launcher "Katyusha", which is called the "Stalin Organ" in German, goes back to the frontline song "Katyusha". This song is about a girl who loves a soldier. The artist reinterprets the symbol of the girl. Singing, she throws folded paper airplanes around her and to the audience, who themselves become co-actors for the outside observers.
