@ongoing_pieces is the address of Delphine Chapuis-Schmitz's Twitter account - present in the exhibition space as pink neon lettering. For the duration of the exhibition, the artist will be posting text fragments on this account. Her point of reference is the well-known essay by feminist scientist Donna Haraway "Situated Knowledges: The Science Question in Feminism and the Privilege of Partial Perspective" (1988). In it, Haraway formulates the necessity of constantly questioning the position of the researchers as well as the context of the research questions raised. In her tweets, Delphine Chapuis-Schmitz makes reference to the text in terms of content and language, but at the same time also thematizes the structure of Twitter as a symptomatic form of communication of our time. At the end of the exhibition the output from these four weeks will be activated in a lecture performance and thus transferred from the virtuality of social media into the real space of the office building.
