The video work/performance satirically tells the story of an exchange project: following a university seminar, four Western European women travel to an East Asian art school run by monks in order to teach the students there the principles of Western European contemporary art through workshops. Although the mutual exchange of ideas fails due to cultural differences, the encounters with the young men become increasingly intimate. The exchange program ends with an all-night party in a bar. The four protagonists of the story report on their experiences with the students in twenty short episodes and reflect on their own behavior in the face of cultural difference. The chosen form of staging is intended to explore the boundary between documentary and fiction. In the video work, three roles are played by actresses. The fourth protagonist - the artist herself - appears in the film only with her voice and her hands, filmed from above, while she works on a graphic figure composed of East Asian motifs.
