Based on interviews with representatives of religious communities, funeral parlors, ritual consultants and those affected in Sarnen, Lucerne and Bern, as well as on-site research, "myFunerals" examines rituals and practices as acts of remembrance and mourning at funerals and burials in the Sarnen community cemetery. myFunerals consists of three parts: #1 purification (performance) #2 cortege (performance) #3 grieving (mapping and displacement) The performance no 1 purification in the funeral hall reflects the cleansing ritual by means of nail cutting. The group performance no 2 cortege in the form of a participatory procession shifts the movable objects of remembrance and mourning from the cemetery to the motor vehicle hall on the opposite side of the valley. The installation "no 3 grieving" in the Motorwagenhalle contains a mapping of all movable objects of remembrance and mourning . .
