With "merge3", the three artists Jeannette Mehr, Yvonne Mueller and Daniel Göttin are transforming the Klingental exhibition space in Basel with a specially created spatial concept. For the process-based realization, they use various materials to create a new architectural spatial situation. The use of these predominantly industrial and standardized materials corresponds to the common artistic basis of the participating artists. The individual handwritings combine to form an overall installation. Visitors are invited to experience the visual changes in the space through their own movement in new contexts. Two performance events curated by Isabel Rohner, "Permerge 1 & 2", address the conditions of this newly created space
and change it again for a short period of time.

For this performance, Spoolder and Schoch were inspired by the Merge exhibition. Important themes for the performance were the architecture, the colors and the scenography of the space.
