During this time and when looking at this work, you may discover references to classical painting as well as (in)direct references to current philosophical thinkers. It may be that you are thinking about globalization at this time and wondering whether this work is a prognosis or addresses the past, but perhaps you are also stuck in the present and the invitation associated with the lettering. You may feel a kind of longing or melancholy addressed by such picturesque places; you may suspect pessimism, sarcasm or irony as a statement, as well as a commentary on climate change or tourism. At best, you might discover hegemonic or even territorial gestures. In the current climate, you might ask yourself whether, and if so, why, the protagonist is wearing a mask or covering his face. Or whether the play with the sharpness of the image is just the auto-focus after all. But you can be sure that the auditory level has been processed. And perhaps it is this level that makes you suspect that this work is primarily about time. And perhaps this is what ultimately convinces you and gives you a foothold in the remaining time.
