You ask me if today is Sunday. I say, no, it's Wednesday. You say, oh, Wednesday. I want to be close to you, watch you, listen to you, even if you ask the same questions over and over again. I can't take it away from you, the fear of losing everything, the fear that nothing is safe, that you will still be here and yet not with us. We will be with you and you will no longer know who we are. That's how millions feel: The present absent. "Panic" is an approach to the world of dementia, to your reality. Dementia means: "the disease of the declining mind."
"Panic" deals with systems of order that dissolve or take on a different form, finds images in mathematics for the loss of accuracy and the past. It is about fragments of rational systems with the help of which we can subject ourselves to a different logic. Nothing foreign has caught up with us in this illness, we only encounter ourselves in it, even if we don't know what we are forgetting.
A play about the confusion of the world, about being unstable and uncertain, about the fact that you can become unknown and alien to yourself from one moment to the next, about the impossibility and possibility of feeling safe and the possibility of dancing together.
