Strategies of Seed

Strategies of Seed brings together a series of action-performances on the island of Spitsbergen, the first of which takes place in front of the renovated Global Seed Vault, and the second in an apocalyptic, deserted former Soviet mining town (Pyramiden).
These ritual actions involve the body and its breath, seeds (mainly old varieties), a little clay and paint on raw canvas. A tribute to seeds, to the condensed life they contain, whose purpose is to grow and multiply. Seeds are poorly treated these days, they need care.
