U Feel Anything? 2018 Long durational performance at Bikini Space Basel Performers: Milena Krstic, Maria Demandt, Sebastian Kläy, Lorenz Orlowski Sculptural sensual performance about the vulnerability of the moment just before the acid starts to kick in. Is the acid working already or not yet? U Feel Anything? The core of this performance was to expand this moment for several hours. The performance was completely improvised. To prepare it, I met with every performer separately, giving them a set of rules and tasks they should follow in the performance. The performers were moving in slow motion and investigating the architectural encounter between their bodies and the sculptures. Milena Krstic, a Sex-RnB prodcuer, was creating live sound, sometimes just by walking with her noisy pleateau shoes through the space. The performers always had to look into the eyes of the audience members and be emotionally vulnerable in their attitude towards the audience. The atmosphere was incredibly beautiful and concentrated, people stayed for several hours in this dream like, acid-trip inspired space.
