AURALROOTS encourage le public à jouer avec ses propres sens du toucher et de l'ouïe pour explorer la perception sensorielle. La sculpture interactive se compose de 24 objets suspendus ou stéréocils qui déclenchent des compositions à partir de 54 échantillons sonores, que l'on peut écouter dans un casque sans fil et qui se mélangent aux sons produits par les autres membres du public. Les stéréocils sont les minuscules cellules ciliées de nos nerfs auditifs situées dans la cochlée de l'oreille interne. L'objectif de cette interaction performative est de s'incarner dans trois environnements sonores différents.
