Performance im Rahmen vom Event Coartex

Improvised Butoh dance as a puppet and an ART butterfly with some elements from the field of consumption (garbage bags and plastic carrier bags for puppeting in puppet-like costumes. The dance leads to increased presence and energetic transformation. Glimpses of archaic complicity and encounter appear in the dance through the audience. The liberation of a human figure is in the room, without any indication of concretization or objective - a subterranean, dormant and vibrating theme. Is the dance sufficient unto itself? A being turns here, as if aimlessly around its own axes, has a goal and the potential to fly, but only briefly, while it is merely playing, as if towards futile goals, in a picture puzzle at its destination, so fleeting are the forces for just one life.
The event took place as part of a long-term series of exchange projects "Art in Dialog" by Barbara Streiff (Alpswissart). CoARTex is a network that Barbara Streiff has built up internationally over many years through numerous exchange projects. The CoARTex event in the Dada House was an exhibition with installations, projections and performances by several artists from the fields of performance art, fine art - object art and video / new media (videos by Barbara Streiff and various artists) on the initiative of Barbara Streiff in cooperation with all participants.
