The solo performance Damenball in Ö took place twice, on September 29 and 30, 1989. In the new space at Konradstrosse 17, an abandoned warehouse, eight movable female body sculptures up to 200 cm tall were installed. They were made of newspaper, wire and adhesive tape and constructed in such a way that they could move, in principle like a simple marionette. The performer linked her joints to her cello bow. She moved in the installation with the instrument, as part of the variety of fragile figures. The space in between was only partially accessible due to a fragile net of nylon threads. Each visitor changed the space and the state of the figures.
