For stromereien 11, we have chosen a location that focuses on the river landscape in the urban environment. The site is topographically framed at different levels and bounded by the embankment wall. The S-Bahn trains rhythmize the acoustic conditions on site. The fallow-like strip is constantly changing with the different water levels of the Limmat. In the intervening time released by the river, traces and deposits become visible and visible. The place is a gap, a threshold. The in-between space has not yet been categorized and collected, the pause has not yet been abolished. What potentially appears in this place was gradually uncovered with "landscaping (in between)". Together, we used our instruments to seismographically sound out the place for its in-between spaces and times; we played with direct and indirect sound, proximity and distance, with the transitions between water and land, city and river, thus also examining the boundaries between music and performance. With "landscaping (in between)", we focused our attention on the edges of urban space and urban time in order to open up new conceptual spaces as bridge builders.
