With two white, dotted lines, which I paint on the floor with paint and two brushes, I divide the space into three fields. Seeking the balance of the white-painted wooden poles and the correct tension of the string, I create a fragile construction. As the third element in this landscape of associations, I place cardboard cones in the room, which, like the white wooden poles, are also placed in the two outer fields. While two popcorn machines begin to work, I use one of the cardboard cones as an instrument for listening and seeing. With a huge ear trumpet on my ear, I listen to the noises, then I turn the cardboard cone into a large pair of binoculars and use it to observe what's happening at the popcorn machines, occasionally also observing the spectators. White popcorn is scattered on the floor. I turn off the machines and carry sprouting potatoes in a banana box to two cardboard bowls. I lay out the potatoes in front of the cardboard cones. Now I kneel down next to the cardboard box and read the text of a boat refugee and his crossing from Africa to Europe. I stand in the banana box and unfold a plastic sheet with which I create various noises and sounds. Then I leave the room.
