We ask about positions of power in and around performance art. About territories and plots. In doing so, we take up the performances of YOKO ONO "Performance Cut Piece" and place them in a contemporary participatory context in the KUNSTgarten. Critically, we ask whether a collective happening as a cultural exchange can contribute to the disappearance of nationalistic positioning by transforming and alienating these patterns. In the Mutachstrasse family garden in Bern, the artists' collective marsie asked visitors and residents for small textile donations. We used the Performance Art Patch to mend or replace the donated textiles. We used the collected textiles to sew a flag on site and hoisted it in the family garden.
