Two people wearing costumes designed to appear as though they should disappear into the background of a Prussian ‘blue screen’, attempt to approach one another without purpose or expectation. A third person follows this through the lens of the camera. They are performing for and with one another within a physical manifestation of The Blue Cube, a conceptual space that activates the realm of possibility 'in between' as a place of pure, raw and immediate presence. The inner freedom of one meets up with that of the others, so that the space must somehow be created together. The final result offers an edited version of reality, in which absurdity becomes a radical act of freedom in defiance of the idea of reality in the first place, or at least of the oppression of a fixed reality.
