The fourth and most comprehensive concept of the Ritual Theater presented the first floor of the former Coop department store Burg on the edge of Biel's old town as an empty space. A 168-hour continuous carrying of water brought the special situation into the public subconscious. The kettle filled with water was carried through the urban space to Bahnhofplatz, where it was emptied. It was refilled in the lake and then returned to the empty warehouse on the hour. The next person always set off with the kettle at minute 15. The water carrying was followed by an hour's watchful existence. The empty warehouse was occupied during the 168 hours from 05.07.1998, 00:00 ? 11.07.1998, 24:00 continuously open. A total of 28 people were involved in this project.

Vorangehende Konzepte und Performances: 5 Tage Ritual Theater 1994 (forumclaque Baden), 6x6 Stunden Ritual Theater 1995 (Ko-Produktion forumclaque Baden), 24 Stunden Ritual Theater 1996. Gleichzeitig fand, ohne voneinander zu wissen, in der Dampfzentrale in Bern unter der Leitung von Urs Peter Schneider ein anderes 168stündiges Projekt statt, die Performance einer Aktions“partitur“ mit Berner Musiker/innen, Künstler/innen, Performer/innen. Mit Boedi S. Otong verbindet mich bis heute eine Zusammenarbeit in verschiedenen Projekten und eine spannungsreiche Diskussion zu Fragen um Kunst, Konzept und Performance.
