A narrow, old wooden bridge leads to a small island in a small river. In the front third of the bridge, it is widened with a round, non-symmetrical platform. There is a round, green metal table and a green metal chair on the island. Behind the bridge in the river there is a threshold over which the water flows. Ausgangspunkt dieser Performance waren meine Tagebücher, die ich bis 2008 geschrieben hatte. Diese hatte ich verbrannt und die Asche wollte ich mit einem Ritual der Natur übergeben. Die Galerie Y’a Qu’a befindet sich etwas abgelegen mitten im Grünen. Ich nahm an einer Gruppenausstellung teil, die vom 7. Juni bis 31. August 2008 unter dem Titel «Fantasmic» stattfand. Ich präsentierte Zeichnungen an dieser Gruppenausstellung. Als ich mir das Areal anschaute, fiel mir der Fluss mit der Brücke und der kleinen Insel ins Auge und ich hatte sofort die Idee, eine Performance mit der Asche zu machen. So schlug ich dem Veranstalter vor, eine Performance zu machen, die dann am 7. Juni 2008 zur Vernissage stattfand. Es hatte die Tage vorher stark geregnet und der Fluss war stark angeschwollen, die Wasser flossen reissend. Es war immer noch regnerisch und kühl für die Jahreszeit. Es war ein windig-regnerischer Tag. Wegen der Wetterverhältnisse und dem reissenden Fluss, weigerte sich der Veranstalter, die Performance durchführen zu lassen. Doch ich bestand auf einer Durchführung und es hat auch alles wunderbar geklappt.
Die Verbindung zur Natur ist für mich persönlich sehr wichtig und ist ein wiederkehrendes, wichtiges Element bzw. Thema in meinen Performances. Meine Performances habe ich grundsätzlich immer ortsbezogen umgesetzt, denn der mich / uns umgebende Raum ist genauso wichtig und trägt und prägt eine Performance genauso mit, wie die Performerin und die Zuschauenden. Oft habe ich eine Idee einer Performance sehr lange mit mir herumgetragen, bis ich den geeigneten Ort dazu gefunden habe. Das war auch bei dieser Performance der Fall.
