Abstract
Sullivans Creek by the Lyneham Wetlands. A sludgy brown collection trying to be regenerated. A lady practices her tai chi looking out at what will hopefully one day be picturesque. I tried to creep up on some cockatoos but they flew away. I rest the microphone on a concrete slab only to realise its a drain. Water is flooding through under the metal lid. Distant and muffled (by the lid) drainage. Cockatoos yell at each other while sitting on a power line. My foot sinks into some mud.
