Abstract
Material as a starting point, experimenting, collecting, manipulating fabrics, disturbing the characteristics, combining them to achieve the unexpected, adding volume, discarding, manipulating the silhouettes, creating illusions, making it uncomfortable, finding solutions, learning a language, adding something fun, achieving lightness, silliness, clay, metal, foam, knit, plastic, circles, stretched, voluminous, off-centered, stiff, draped, stripes, cutouts, texture, cold colours, different techniques – jersey in all its facets.

Intuitive sewing, a technique of my creative process. Focus on a technical approach vs. Expressing my thoughts in my work. Combining work and thoughts. How to create in this fucked up world, where there is so much going on and going wrong. Expressing what you don’t see from the outside, and if i don’t want to, you will never find out.

I need to stretch to fit in. Now what? Brutal decisions. To have a heavy heart. Life is serious, is it? Keep going. Don’t stand still, you will start to think. Life feels like an occupational therapy. It’s okay to smile. It’s okay to be silly.
