Abstract
Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der architektonischen Fassade und ihrem Potential, als Schnittstelle unterschiedlicher Disziplinen zu fungieren. Auf eklektische Weise werden architekturtheoretische und philosophische Texte zu Themen wie Realität, Kopie oder Kommunikation neben Arbeiten von Konzeptkünstlern gestellt, um mögliche Analogien im methodologischen Entwurfsansatz zu finden. Durch assoziative Bilder um den Begriff der Fassade wird die gesellschaftliche Rolle der zeitgenössischen Architektur analysiert.
This work sees the architectural facade considering its potential to act as an interface between different disciplines. In an eclectic way, architectural-theoretical and philosophical texts on topics such as reality, imitation or communication are placed alongside works by conceptual artists to find possible analogies in the approach to design methodology. The social role of contemporary architecture is analyzed through an association of images built around the concept of the facade.
