The article attempts to read the portal of the "Catalog for Performance Collections Switzerland" as an archive, a space for action and a place of (re)activation. In doing so, it interweaves the institutional perspective of the media library as host and the interests of the community of performance artists who make their works accessible there. The article relates fundamental concepts such as collection, inventory, indexing, community of practice, networks of care, but also trust (affidamento) and friendship to some of the collection's contents, thus showing how closely the different sides and stakeholders are interwoven.
