In recent years, Christian Ratti (*1974, lives in Zurich and Winterthur, Switzerland) has offered the art world many excursions into alternative concepts of beauty, such as monument and nature conservation. Ratti's LISTE contribution Garderobenmarken, on the other hand, is based on things left behind that the artist has deposited mainly in the checkrooms of art institutions since 2006 and never picked up again. The LISTE 17 galleries were also invited to follow his example. The finger-sized tokens replace the usual equipment of the LISTE checkroom and circulate as an international collection of placeholders in the pockets of participants and visitors.

Rattis LISTE-Beitrag Garderobenmarken geht
dagegen von zurückgelassenen Dingen aus, die der
Künstler seit 2006 hauptsächlich an Garderoben von
Kunstinstitutionen deponiert und nie wieder abgeholt
hat. Zusätzlich waren die LISTE 17-Galerien eingeladen,
seinem Beispiel zu folgen. Die fingergrossen
Marken ersetzen die übliche Ausstattung der LISTE Garderobe
und zirkulieren als internationale Sammlung
von Platzhaltern in den Taschen von Teilnehmern
und Besuchern.
