Various actions with colored tissue paper and shiny paper rolls take place on two monitors. In long, static shots, the camera documents the creation of images and compositions. I am both an actor on the picture stage and part of the picture being created. If there is no action, the composition dominates, which is perceived as a surface. When I re-enter the pictorial space, space and proportions return to my consciousness and the picture changes through a new action. Some of the actions are accompanied by music and the camera is moved by hand over the resulting images.
